Sue Vanderwill Has Joined the Bank as Vice President, Regional Branch Manager
Jack Shubitowski, President and CEO of Huron Valley State Bank, is pleased to announce that Sue Vanderwill has joined the bank as Vice President, Regional Branch Manager. Vanderwill is responsible for overseeing branch operations, business development, consumer lending, customer relations, and cash management services.
She started her career at Comerica in 1989 where she worked in the Cash Vault Services. In her role she was responsible for large commercial deposits, balanced multiple ATMs and fulfilled cash orders for banking centers. To gain further experience in the retail environment and a broader experience in banking, she transferred to a banking center four years later. Throughout her thirty years of experience, she has held a variety of positions and special assignments in banking. In addition to her primary role of managing banking centers, she facilitated numerous training sessions for management trainees, customer service and lending representatives.

For the Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce, Vanderwill is President Elect (2019 President), Chair of the Governmental Affairs, Co-Chair of the Programs Committee, and participates on various other special programs. She is also an active member of the White Lake Historical Society, where she volunteers as the newsletter editor and events team member.
She lives in White Lake Township, with her husband, daughter, son and two dogs. She coaches softball, basketball and bowling for Team Special Olympics- Team Huron Valley and serves as the social event coordinator for THV Incorporated, the funding hub for Special Olympics- Team Huron Valley.
