Huron Valley State Bank Spreads Holiday Cheer Through Gift-Giving Programs
Huron Valley State Bank continued its tradition of giving back this holiday season by supporting local families and children through two impactful community programs — the Community Sharing Outreach Center in Highland and the Milford Village Elves program.
At the Highland Branch, the annual toy drive for Community Sharing Outreach Center ran from November 18th to December 13th. Customers and staff generously donated new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages. This longstanding tradition, led by Shelley Dickerson, has made a significant impact year after year. On December 16th, Shelley Dickerson and Sheri Miles delivered the collected toys to David Bell, President of Community Sharing, and his team. The surprise and gratitude on their faces underscored the importance of this program.
Meanwhile, at the Milford Branch, they partnered with the Milford Village Elves, collecting monetary donations through November 29th. The branch staff used the contributions to purchase gifts for a specific family in need. The gifts will be delivered on Christmas Eve, bringing warmth and happiness to the family.
The Financial Center also played a key role, supporting both programs through toy donations and monetary contributions, reflecting the Bank’s commitment to giving back to the communities it serves.
“Our bank is so proud to support these meaningful programs that bring joy to families during the holiday season,” said Jack Shubitowski, President and CEO of Huron Valley State Bank. “It’s incredible to see the generosity of our team and community members come together to make a difference.”
Huron Valley State Bank extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed and supported these initiatives. By working together, the Bank and the community continue to make the holiday season brighter for families in need.
