Huron Valley State Bank Employees Provided Five Thanksgiving Food Baskets to Local Families

For the 9th consecutive year, the compassionate team at Huron Valley State Bank has continued its heartwarming tradition of giving back during the Thanksgiving season. This November, the bank embarked on its annual food drive, successfully collecting hundreds of items of canned or boxed non-perishable goods, along with fresh potatoes, butter, and pumpkin and apple pies at both branches and the financial center.

Going above and beyond, the bank not only filled Thanksgiving baskets with these essentials but also ensured each family received a voucher for a turkey from The Village Butcher. Jack Shubitowski, President and CEO expressed his gratitude for the incredible generosity displayed by our employees: "Our team wholeheartedly embraces the spirit of giving, contributing an overwhelming amount of food to support this program. Their enthusiasm to give back to our community is truly commendable."

Susan Bowen, our Vice President of Mortgage Lending, and organizer of the program shared her pride in being part of an organization that values community support: "I am thrilled to work at a place that actively participates in helping others and making a positive impact on the community. Each family not only enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving feast but also received enough non-perishable items to sustain them for weeks to come."
