Huron Valley State Bank Employees Provided Five Thanksgiving Food Baskets to Local Families Tuesday, November 22, 2022 / Categories: Community Involvement, Press Releases For the ninth consecutive year, employees at Huron Valley State Bank donated food items to fill Thanksgiving baskets with all the fixings for five families in the community. In early November, the bank announced its annual food drive collecting over five hundred items of canned or boxed non-perishable food items, fresh potatoes, butter, and pumpkin pies at both branches and financial center. The Bank topped off each food basket by providing a voucher for a turkey at The Village Butcher. “Employees generously open their hearts to provide an overwhelming amount of food to support this program. They look forward to participating and giving back to our community” said Jack Shubitowski, President and CEO. “I am so proud to work at a place that takes pride in helping others and giving back to the community,” said Susan Bowen, Vice President of Mortgage Lending. “Each of the families received a basket full of food for not only a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, but also enough non-perishable food items to last for a couple of weeks.” Previous Article Huron Valley State Bank Announces the Appointment of Joseph Ohmer, Chief Financial Officer Next Article Huron Valley State Bank Assures Safety and Soundness Print 3392
