Huron Valley State Bank Contributes $5,000 to the Community Sharing Building Fund

Huron Valley State Bank contributed $5,000 to the Community Sharing Building Fund to assist with their “Building to Feed the Hungry” capital campaign.  This program is dedicated to raising the necessary capital to assist in providing Community Sharing with their own building.  A big check was presented at Community Sharing’s temporary facility on Tuesday, November 23rd.

“The donation to Community Sharing represents our commitment to the community to invest in a vital organization that provides nourishment and essential services to those in need,” said Jack Shubitowski, President and CEO of Huron Valley State Bank. “We are in full support of helping Community Sharing build a permanent home in Highland Township.”

Their “Building to Feed the Hungry” Capital Campaign has a goal of $880,000 to provide a facility for Community Sharing.  They initially broke ground on September 29, 2021. The facility is anticipated to be fully constructed by April of 2022.

“Thanks to the outpouring support of Huron Valley State Bank and other local businesses this facility is possible. We are humbled for all the support from the community,” said Dave Bell, Community Sharing President.
